| Remarks
: |
- ROB was constructed at the location of existing
level crossing. The frequency of closing / opening
of gate was about 2 to 3 minutes. The site is
falls in the busiest area of Nalasopara town
and Road connecting to National Highway with
shops running on either side.
- The site of work was not continuously available
due to limited space and time restriction for
working. There were number of overheads and
unforeseen under ground services like water
supply, sewage line, telephone and electrical
cables etc., encountered during work. This required
utmost care was taken to keep the services uninterrupted.
- The work close to Railway Track has to be
done with utmost safety.
- Superstructure work consisting of continuously
RCC solid slab, RCC voided slab. The same were
carried out in monsoon under extremely heavy
traffic condition.
- Reinforced earth work was carried out with
the help of Geogrids and Precast Facia.
