The High Level Bridge (total length 340
m and 30 m in height) is consisting of :
Foundation : 1200 mm / 1500 mm dia
RCC Bored Cast in Pile Foundation (max.
depth 45 m), anchoring in Rock by 3.6 to
4.5 m.
Substructure : RCC Circular Piers
(Height 28.25 metres)
Superstructure : PSC Superstructure
(8 x 40 metre PSC I Section Girders).

| Remarks
: |
- The work involved 1200 mm dia and 1500 mm
dia bored cast in situ RCC piles as foundation,
Substructure RCC Circular Mono Pier (height
of pier 28.25 metres) and Superstructure 8 x
40 m I Section PSC Girder
- Piling was carried out in a maximum depth
of 45 metres for 1500 mm dia piles. Piling was
carried out in hard rock strata with modified
piling equipment.
- Mono Circular Pier was done with jumping
formwork made in-house.
- 8 x 40 m PSC I section Girders were cast
in situ and done with heavy duty in-house made
staging at the height of maximum 30 meters.
- Entire concreting work was done with help
of Mobile Batching plant and Concrete Pump.
- Entire work was done in Perennial River of
Tapi with HFL of 24 meters.
