Remarks :
  • This ROB is to be constructed across one of the busiest level crossing. The portion of the bridge within Railway limit has to be constructed over Electric Overhead lines.

  • The electric over head lines will be modified to ROB standard by Railway Department. Thereafter the girders will be cast at a height above bed block over a temporary staging. The temporary staging will be erected during traffic and electric blocks of Railway.

  • The girders cast at a height of about 2 m above bed block shall be lowered in position by hydraulic jacks, observing utmost safety against the running train. This challenging job involving 16 girders will be completed in a period of about 90 days.

  • A part of the approach is constructed with Reinforced Earth wall, Geogrid reinforcement has been used as Reinforcing Element.
