Construction of 220 KV D/C Transmission
line towers in river Tapti for Gujarat Electricity
Board, (Kabilpore - 396 424.) consisting of
six locations having 1250 mm dia bored cast-in-situ
piles (72 nos., depth more than 25 meters
and RCC pile cap and columns).Cost of project
was 34.87 Million Rupees , completed in 5
months period. |

| Remarks
: |
- All six locations of Transmission tower foundations
were falling in river Tapti and required to
be taken under Tidal conditions. As such all
materials, man power and machineries had to
be transported by in housely made heavy duty
barges and specially modified Pontoons.
- Soil exploration and piling was carried out
with the help of Pontoon mounted rigs and constructing
steel platforms.
- Work completed on May,1999.
